Leesa JoAnn Iverson writes to broaden perspective, create conversation, and foster compassion for ourselves and others.

Leesa has a Visual Communication Design diploma. She belongs to the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Leighton Art Center (LAT), the Writers’ Guild of Alberta (WGA), and the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society (AWCS).

Leesa is an accomplished writer; the third illustrated Picture book in her One Lucky Teddybear series will be available June 2024. When Leesa is not volunteering her time, caring for her family or travelling, she continues to edit and illustrate her debut middle-grade novel titled Normal As The Moon.

Her Children’s Illustrated Picture books, One Lucky Teddybear Falling and One Lucky Teddybear Sideways are available now.
